It is a Single Origin Estate Coffee that comes from a 35-acre patch in the center of our farm and is processed on site to the highest gourmet standards. Here, 3 varieties of Arabica tree grow side by side. Kona Typica, Hawaii Typica, and Red Bourbon trees combine to make a coffee like no other.

Private Reserve is described by many as the best Kona Coffee in existence. It has an elegant coffee taste with notes of rich dark chocolate revealing an exceptional balance of flavor, aroma, acidity. Pleasingly flavorful and aromatic, with a silky-smooth finish, you will not find another coffee like it.

The smell and taste of perfection!

The first thing I do when I get my bag of Private Reserve is open it and put it to my nose and breathe in the unique quality of Hawaiian coffee which immediately transports me to an out of body memory of my life in Hawaii as a child. I grab the grinder and do a quick, coarse grind on the beans and brew up a pot. The smell continues throughout the house as I anticipate that first sip. It's a smooth warm and inspiring cup that puts the imagination into overdrive. I enjoy this Greenwell Farms private reserve as much as any coffee I've ever had, which is why I've gotten two pounds delivered to me every two months for the last 20 odd years. I look forward to another trip to the Island of Hawaii to visit the farm again. I toured it in 2001, which lead to this quarter century love of the Kona Kings of Coffee, Greenwell Farms. Buy some, you won't be disappointed!
