Greenwell Farms provides farm tours led by expert guides who share the rich history and craft behind producing Greenwell Farms 100% Kona Coffee. Meet Chai, she will give you a taste of the farm in a brief interview below.  

Aloha, my Name is Chai, I’m one of Greenwell Farms Tours guides and when I’m not doing tours, I do quality control and I am one of Greenwell Farms Q-graders.

What’s your favorite place on the farm?

One of my favorite places on the farm is the retail store, I get to welcome people from all over the world and share our amazing coffee with them and this beautiful background.

What’s a question you are frequently asked?

One question I get a lot on the tour is what makes Kona coffee so special and different from the rest of the world’s coffee and the answer is number one Kona here has a very unique climate, the soil and also the way Greenwell Farms cultivates the coffee and that will result in a coffee that is amazingly, inherently sweet, has a bright acidity and a very amazing after taste.

What’s your favorite Greenwell Farms product?

All right, my favorite product from the farm is the Onouli coffee.  This coffee is from 100-year-old coffee trees and was 2009 State Champion.  This coffee has amazing chocolate flavor, fruity, and amazing acidity and very smooth body and great after taste, so please give it a try.
